Types Of African Clothing

African fashion is the style of dressing worn by Africans. It has been popular in Africa for centuries. African fashion is not a single style, but rather a way of dressing that can be modified to fit the person wearing it. The styles vary widely from tribe to tribe and region to region. There are several different styles of African clothing, including:

* Western wear

* Traditional African wear

* Modern African wear

* Tribal wear

* Ethnic wear

The most common type of African clothing is Western wear. This includes everything from casual street wear to formal business wear. The basic principle of western wear is to make use of modern technology. For example, men often wear shirts and ties that are made out of synthetic materials. Women often wear skirts and pants that are made out of synthetics as well.

Traditional African clothing is a style of dress that is passed down from one generation to another. It is usually associated with the people who live in the country where it originated. For example, in Kenya, traditional clothing is called Kanga. In Ghana, it is called Asante. In Nigeria, it is called Ibo. In Swaziland, it is called Ndlovu. In South Africa, it is called Xhosa. In Zambia, it is called Bemba.

Modern African wear is a style of clothing that was developed in the late 19th century. It was originally designed to be worn by Africans living in Europe. Today, many Africans in America wear this style of clothing.

Tribal wear is a style of clothing which was developed by individual tribes. It is usually a style of dress that is unique to a particular tribe. For example, in Kenya the Maasai wear very specific types of clothing.

Ethnic wear is a style of clothing developed by groups of people who identify themselves by their ethnic heritage. This may include the Jewish people, the Chinese people, or the Native Americans.
