For those of you that are brand-new to the globe of. West African percussion, right here'' s a little introduction. A traditional West African Djembe set consists of. Djembes and Dununs. among which is here. Dununs, that'' s a cumulative word for three round. bass drums. The dununba which is the biggest one; '' Bachelor's degree ' indicates big in ' Malinke '. The Sangban which is. the heart of any type of set, the medium-sized drum. And also the Kenkeni. Mamady Keita calls the Kenkeni. the '' electric motor ', the driving pressure of most rhythms. And you'' ll understand why when you experience the. sort of components that are played on the Kenkeni. The Sangban is the '' heart ' of every set.. As you discover more and more West African rhythms, it'' s the Sangban that differentiates one rhythm. from the other.And the Dununba, Mamady calls the ' Sauce ' due to the fact that ' sauce' makes things tasty, as well as. that'' s just what the dununba does. African fashion has been in existence for a long time. The African tribes have their own unique style of dressing that has withstood the test of time. It has been adopted by the natives of other countries as well and has become part of the mainstream fashion. This is not surprising since the African fashion is quite distinctive.

The main reason why the African fashion is so unique is because it is based on the culture of the people who wear them. The clothing is made to suit the body type and size of the wearer. The African fashion is also very colorful. The colors are chosen depending on the tribe of the person wearing the garment. For instance, in Nigeria, the colors are usually bright and vibrant. In Kenya, the color is more subdued. In Ghana, the colors are more muted.

The clothes worn by the African people are usually made of cotton. However, other materials like leather are also used in making the garments. In some cases, the African clothing is made from animal skin. The colors of the African clothing can be anything from light brown to dark brown. The designs on the clothes can be simple or elaborate. There are also some styles where the entire garment is covered with designs. These are known as tribal print designs. The designs are usually geometric patterns. They are usually made using beads, sequins and beads.

The African fashion has a lot of similarities with the Indian fashion. Both these cultures have adopted the same design elements. The basic design elements include a tunic and trousers. The tunic is usually a loose fitting piece of cloth that covers the torso. The trousers are a pair of baggy pants that are loose fitting. The designs on the clothes are similar. Can an Elephant Beat a Triceratops?

Titans will clash today as we pit one of the largest mammals alive against a prehistoric heavyweight. With old horns against new tusks, Coming into the VS ring today are some of the largest creatures known to humanity. Our first fighter is the largest land mammal alive today. Elephants are very social creatures led by a matriarch. With her long tusks and protective instincts, you wouldn’t want to get on this big mama’s bad side. And in this corner, hailing all the way back from the Cretaceous period, She lived over 65 million years ago in North America. These enormous creatures have a reputation for getting into it with the notorious T.rex and coming out on top. Let's get ready to rumble! Weighing in at almost 5,500 kg (12,000 lb), the elephant means business. Measuring nearly 4 m (12 ft) tall with a length of over 6 m (21 ft), this contender is the animal kingdom's Andre the Giant.

People have seen elephants toppling over cars like they were made of tin foil. But that's nothing compared to this T. rex killer's massive 9,000 kg (20,000 lbs). This triceratops measures 3 m (10 ft) tall and 9 m (30 ft) long. Their heads were sometimes 33% of their entire body length, and they were the largest of all land animals of their time. It’s plain and simple.

The triceratops wins this round as it's almost double the elephant's size. Despite its weight and shorter legs, the triceratops could reach speeds over 30 km/h (20 mph). But the African bush elephant is no slowpoke. She'll charge at aggressors at speeds reaching 40 km/h (25 mph). Trust me folks. It's very impressive. And utterly terrifying! With speed on her side, the elephant takes round 2! These creatures' main forms of offense are their horns and tusks. The triceratops has three horns. Her two largest are 1.2 m (4 ft) long, and they're above her eyes. The smaller one on her snout is 0.6 m (2 ft) long. The elephant has only two tusks, but hers are much longer than the triceratops' horns. Look out, folks! The elephant's tusks measure almost 2 m (6 ft) long. That's longer than most people's height. The ground shakes as they run at each other! They're trying to topple their opponents using their massive tusks and horns! The triceratops' weight and lower center of gravity make it tough for the elephant to knock the Cretaceous creature down. The triceratops is used to locking horns with her own kind, and uses her ball socket-jointed neck to swing her huge head in any direction.

She lands a hit and topples the elephant! Maybe the elephant’s best chance of surviving is if she gets up and runs away. But the triceratops is no stranger to winning battles, having taken down bigger dinosaurs in the ring. The triceratops tramples over the elephant, piercing her skin with her horns. She takes this round and the fight! The winner is the prehistoric pounder It's hammer VS horn when our winner takes on the ankylosaurus We'll see who wins on another round of VS..

Kanda Bongo Man is our first African style fashion icon for today the second African style fashion Icon Mbilia Bel known as the queen of Congolese and Africa Rumba, Mbila Bel has a beautiful soprano and the second expert from Congo- something about Congo churns put these amazing musicians and Mbilia Bel is one of the most famous Congolese musical exports of the 80s and 90s she is a fashion icon because a lot of women were influenced by her style using the Kitenge or the print cloth in her videos as well as just being a fabulous woman she was Africa's first transcontinental diva and was famous for her sultry soprano the third on our list is President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria served from 1999 to 2007 as the civilian president and previously from 1976 to 1979 as a military president President Obasanjo known for never wearing a suit and was always seen in an Agbada when serving ceremonial or state functions fourth style icon is Yvonne Chaka Chaka born Yvonne machaca in South Africa she's known as the princess of Africa and as a young performer Yvonne was the first black child to appear on South African television in 1981 during apartheid era of South Africa many of you may remember Yvonne Chaka Chaka's songs such as Um'Qombothi which is one of my favorite songs and mama'll and as well as Thank You Mr.

DJ which also one of my favorite songs of hers the fifth African style icon is Kenneth Kaunda he was the first president of Zambia and also was very known for a particular style of suit which was later baptized into the Kaunda suit Kenneth David Buchisya Kaunda was born on the 20th of April in 1924 and his signature Kaunda influenced a lot of your uncle's and your dad's and your maybe not cousins and uncles in your dad's to wear this suit I know please comment below if your uncle we father your grandfather wore a Kaunda suit because I noticed five people in my childhood who rocked a Kaunda suit proudly so president Kenneth Kaunda is number five on my list as the African fashion icon and number six on my list is Miriam Makeba she is one of my favorite vocalists to come out of Africa in the 60s and 70s and I mean it would be wrong not to include her this list even though she came a little bit earlier than the 80s and 90s but Miriam Makeba has this style about her that that screams regal dignity and African pride she was a very vocal activist and she was even exiled from South Africa because of her activism and was later accepted to come back home and last but definitely not least because this this and it's not one particular person it's actually a whole mass of people who influenced your uncle your dad your cousin to wear this and this fashion icon of these fashion icons are the Soukous musicians collectively which includes Franco and the TP OK Jazz, Tabu lay, Kofi Olomide all these people somehow convinced our relatives to wear their pants up here! back in the 90s and 80s this was an appealing fashion trend not so much today however there is a man known as suit man is trying to bring this trend back which I think let it die bro just let this trend die as much as I like to appreciate fashion trends that are born in Africa this one is one I'm okay with saying Kwaheri to because nobody looks good with their pants over here.
