We have to encourage these type of people, I love to do that. When an youngster does something like this, we have to encourage them. Since we are in a foreign country, we have to encourage them more. We have to support them and stay with them. We have to stay together and we should always maintain peace. From how many years are you staying in Ghana? - Its more than 10 years. I Came in 2012. We are going to explore some interesting places in Accra. There is a church on the way, I have come here many times. I did not get chance to visit the church, so now we are going to visit the church. It is a very big church in Accra Where is the entry from? This is a very famous Cathedral. This is Qodesh church. It is very big and very popular. Majority of the population in Ghana are Christians. So there are many church's here. There are many big church's in Ghana. This is a Christian majority country. 70% of the population follow Christianity, I have mentioned in one of my videos.

If you come on Sunday, this will be very crowded. Currently, we are in Qodesh Church, this is very big and very massive. This is a multi floor Church, this is the ground floor. We are in first, there are 2 more floors. Roof is very big. I talked with many Ghana people, they told me that they visit Church only on Sundays. There are nobody in this Church, only I am here. Currently, I have Foster with me. You have seen him in the last video. After Church, we have come to National mosque of Ghana. This is the largest mosque in Ghana and second largest mosque in West Africa. The biggest mosque of West Africa is there in Senegal.

This Mosque was started in 2010. Due to fund issues, this Mosque was not constructed. After that, Turkish government supported this. This Mosque is constructed by both Ghana and Turkish government. This complete Mosque has been constructed in Ottoman architecture. There are four big pillars. This is also known as the signature of Ottoman architecture. This Mosque was opened in 2021. This is a very big Mosque, it can hold up to 15,000 people. This Mosque is very beautiful from the outside but is also very beautiful from the inside. After this Mosque, we are going to a place which is famous throughout the world. Before 2-3 years, in the peak time of covid, a meme was Viral. That was about coffin dance. This coffin dance was very popular 3 years back. This Meme was originated from Ghana. So now we are going to the place where the coffin is made and the dance was originated. This is the number one hotel in Accra. This is the number one hotel and also very expensive hotel. This is a 5 star hotel and one room cost around $250 per night. 250 Dollars per night. The name of this area is Osu.

Osu is one of the very oldest and very well Developed area. This is a very posh area, you can call it as 'New York of Accra'. There are clubs, restaurants and many shopping malls. This is a very good place. This place will be crowded on the weekends like Christmas and Easter. They arrange many lightings and fireworks in all the celebrations. This is a very expensive place. Whoever comes to Ghana, they will first take you to Osu. You have to explore the streets of OSU. The ancient people of Ghana are from Osu. This is a very ancient place, before it used to be ruled by kings. Now nobody rules here.

There is king in Kumasi region. There is Kumasi region in Ghana, king rule is followed there. If he tells anything, then president should do that. He is a very respectful person. He is a very popular king. This comes to the greater Accra region. Hey guys, very good morning from Accra, Ghana. I'm continuing this video from yesterday's part. I wanted to explore some more places yesterday. I couldn't go there, so I am exploring those places today.

Today, I am going to Foster house. I will stay in his house and I will explore Accra today. After that I am going to Togo, which is my next country in Africa. I have taken taxi because if I had taken tro-tro, I had to change it three times. I have taken taxi, the fare of this ride is on 25 CEDI which is 200 INR. The distance covered is around 12 km. This is strawberry flavored yoghurt. In West Africa trip, yoghurt drink and milkshake are the lifeline. When I don't get anything to drink, I drink yoghurt or milkshake. We had studied in our school that 'Milk is a complete food'.

There are Indian restaurants in the cities where many Indians live. I am in Accra from past three days and I am having Indian food always. Something is happening every time, so I am not able to show you. Compared to other West African countries, Ghana taxi fare is very less. If I compared with Guinea-Bissau, Senegal and Ivory coast. I am very surprised in this country. He is Foster, you have already met him. The name of the locality is Nima, which is one of the oldest locality. This area is very densely populated it is also known as Nima market. We will go to his house and keep our bags. Then we will leave to our destination. Look at the streets. Very old locality of Accra. She is my first sugar mummy. Look at the area of locality. He is telling me that this is a complete Muslim area.

99% of the people are Muslims. This is some school, I will show you. This is a school, kids are studying. This is the neighborhood locality of Foster . This Is Foster house. I am going to stay here and I am going to leave tomorrow morning. I have come here for single night. This is his room. There is also a television and there are many photos. There is also an AC. This is his neighborhood, I have come here to see smoke fish. This is their Stove and gas. There is a smoke everywhere. This looks very hot. Fish and rice is staple food of complete West Africa.

Maximum people eat this all the 3 times. 'Fish and rice' They eat in different methods such as gravy, fried. Gravy is known as sauce. We have come to a local School in Accra. The School has a number plate, which we put on vehicle. There is also a barcode. I had went to a local School to show you the local school and kids.

They told me to take permission from principal. He is out, he might take time to come back. I cannot wait for long time because I have to go to some other place. If I come early, I will definitely show you otherwise I cannot. Now, we are going to see fancy or fantasy coffins. This is a very popular culture of Ghana. We are going to the place where coffins are manufactured and designed but it is very far from here. It is around 35 km so we are in a hurry. We will take a transport, it might take 2 hours to reach.

It will be night when we come back because it is very far. It is in the greater Accra. I wanted to visit this place yesterday, but I did not know that this place is far. I have postponed the plan for today. These are local households. When it rain, the weather will be pleasant but when it doesn't then it will be humid. Today the weather is very hot. I am sweating a lot, I have to go in these Roads. He is taking me in some interior roads. This game is very popular in West Africa. I had seen this in many countries. I had seen this things in Guinea-Bissau, but I had not recorded. I was not having camera at that moment. Let's see who wins. Kids on the one side and Foster on the other side. Many kids are playing here, there are four boards. This game is also played for gambling. I have seen these people playing it for money, even children's do it. Even adults play this game for gambling. We have come to the road, where will we find the transport.

I can only see tro-tro everywhere. It is available for all destinations. We have got a transport. From here we are going to big station from there I will find the last transport. This is local street food. They are selling fish, chicken and fried potato. They also selling plantain which is the fried raw banana. There are many Street foods. I have changed my transport, it is near the big station. This directly takes us to the destination where we want to go. This vehicle is full. This is a local snack. This looks like a coconut biscuit. I thought it is salty but this is fried. We have reached Teshie, which is there in the outskirts of Accra. We took a lot of time to come. I think, I spent more than 1.5 hours. The approximate cost was around 10 CEDI because public transport is very cheap.

These are fancy coffins. This is in the shape of fish. This is the eye of fish. He is going to cut this and open the mouth of the fish. The inhabitants of this place do this ancient culture. These people believe in giving the best send off for the dead person. They celebrate the death. They celebrate the death. They party very well and they enjoy the celebration. There is a coffin here, this is in the shape of a music instrument Tabla. This is in is in the shape of cannon. There are different type of coffin which these people have already made. This is a truck shaped coffin for truck drivers. This might be an iPhone lover so this coffin is in the shape of iPhone.

There might be a person whose occupation is related with pen, they have made this design for him. This is fish, which is ready. There are many occupations and coffins are related to the occupations. A person might be in the army, this is a tank shaped coffin. Look at this coffin and it is in the shape of camera. He might shoe seller, this coffin is in the shape of shoe. The coffin is decided on the basis of the achievement, occupation and passion. They prepare the coffin as per the demands. There are so many options, I cannot show you everything. They are doing it from 70 years. There is pastry, cake and fruits shaped coffins. The price of the coffin starts from 12000 INR. The maximum retail price of a coffin is 50000 INR. Some shops will have more expensive coffins. Making coffin is very expensive. For people who can afford, they will make a coffin instantly. But for the people who cannot afford a coffin, they store the dead body in cold storage.

The keep the body in cold storage for more than 6 months. So that they can save the money in a year and make a coffin for them. They do not give send off for the body without making fancy coffin. There are many carpentry shops, in which coffin are designed. We have come to the one of the biggest and the most popular coffin shop. The name of this Shop is 'Kane kwei carpentry.' We are going to the first floor, he was telling me that, he had a very big show room. Due to broadening of road, that has been demolished. So he is constructing a new shop. There is a coffin in the shape of bird and this is coffin is in the shape of beer bottle. This coffin is in the shape of beer bottle. He is the grand son 'Kane kwei'. This shop is named after him. This is very big and very popular shop. The price of These coffins are very high. It is around 80000 INR for 1 coffin. He told me it will take a week but here he is telling me it will take around three weeks to make one coffin. People are actually burry the coffins on Friday or Saturday.

There will be funeral party on Sunday. People come, they drink, eat, party and celebrate the death. They believe that, if he gets a good send off, he will reborn in a very good place. This is very unusual and very unique custom. I don't think this customs and funerals are followed in any other countries. You might have seen a coffin dance video 2 years back, which is originate from Ghana. That music used to go like this.. When there is a Funeral, people take the coffin and dance. This coffin dance was introduced 20 years back. People were unemployed so they started this. From then it has become famous and it has also become the custom. We are in Greater Accra but not in the Accra City. We are going back to Accra. I will end this video and I will meet you in a new video.
